Description: Developed specifically for the startup of cooling water systems after extended or seasonal layup, Cooling Loop Croc® provides temporary corrosion protection when systems must be brought back online before the normal cooling water treatment program has reached full operational control.
This is especially valuable during a temporary mid-season startup, such as a short warm spell that requires HVAC cooling systems to be operated for only a few days during an otherwise ongoing layup period. During these initial startup conditions, corrosion risk can increase because water is
circulating, metal surfaces are re-exposed, and the permanent treatment program may not yet be fully established.
Each Cooling Loop Croc® treats 250 gallons (0.95 m3) of water at startup.
Package and Storage: Cooling Loop Croc® is available in 1.1 lb (0.5 kg) water-soluble bags, each approximately 6” x 9” (15 cm x 23 cm), with four bags per box. To ensure best product performance, keep sealed in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40–100° F (4–38° C).
