Designed with the circular economy in mind, Eco-Bio Paper® is a recyclable, repulpable, and biodegradable barrier packaging paper. With a substrate made from 100% recycled fibers and stock treated with a unique, biobased coating that repels moisture, grease, and oil, Eco-Bio Paper® provides a competitive, environmentally responsible alternative to conventional polyethylene and wax papers — all without sacrificing barrier protection properties.
Historically, the polyethylene or wax coatings on conventional barrier papers have made it difficult to recycle or repulp these products once their application is complete, often ending up in landfills. In addition, polyfluoroakyl substance (PFAS) usage in the barrier paper industry has contributed to the presence of “forever chemicals” in the environment. But Cortec’s unique biobased coating keeps Eco-Bio Paper® out of landfills and in the “circular economy” of recycling, repulping, and composting.

To ensure best product performance, store in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40–100° F (4–38° C).
