VpCI®-101 Foam Emitter

Description

Description: With Cortec®’s unique VpCI®-101 emitter, protecting sensitive surfaces from corrosion has never been easier. Designed specifically for enclosed, non-ventilated spaces (such as control boxes, cabinets, toolboxes, etc.), each VpCI®-101 device protects up to 1 ft3 (28 L) of interior volume.
By slowly releasing Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCI®) into the enclosed environment, VpCI®-101 forms a molecular barrier on all metal surfaces inside, including recessed or otherwise hard-to-reach surfaces, providing more consistent and reliable corrosion protection than conventional
sprays or coatings.

Ideal for sensitive, critical, or complex multi-metal applications, such as electronics or highly specialized parts and components, VpCI®-101 provides long-term protection against corrosion even in adverse environments, including salt, moisture, airborne contaminants such as sulfur gasses, and
other harsh conditions.

Application: VpCI®-101 is extremely simple and convenient to install. At the earliest possible time — ideally during manufacturing or assembly — simply select a space within the enclosure, peel the adhesive backing, and press onto an inconspicuous surface free of oil or debris. Once sealed, the Vapor phase
Corrosion Inhibitors will migrate from the device onto the metal surfaces inside, forming a barrier against corrosive conditions.

Protection: 1.0 ft3 (.03 m3).

Package:Each VpCI®-101 is 3” (7.6 cm) x 1.25” (3.2 cm) x 0.25” (0.6 cm) and protects up to 1 ft3 (28 L) per device, with 50 individually wrapped devices packaged per carton. To ensure best product performance, keep sealed in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40–100° F (4–
38° C).

Shelf life: 2 years
