DESCRIPTION
Engineered as a complete replacement for nitrogen blanketing and dry air systems, VpCI®-337 is a waterborne corrosion-inhibiting fogger for temporary protection of equipment and production plants. In addition to their expense and high maintenance demands, nitrogen blankets are also a
personnel health hazard. VpCI®-337 is a safer, ready-to-use alternative.
Cortec’s unique Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors (VpCI®) migrate and form a molecular layer on all metal surfaces, forming a barrier against the elements. Ideal for fogging void spaces, tanks, containers, packages, and other enclosures, a minimal dosage of VpCI®-337 significantly reduces labor and overhead costs of plant and equipment layup, resulting in cost savings throughout the application.
Effective on ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including aluminum, plated steels, and copper, VpCI®- 337 is consistently successful in providing corrosion protection to the metalworking and packaging industries.
VpCI®-337 is also available in a freeze-resistant version, as VpCI®-337 Winterized, for convenience of storage and application in temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C).

APPLICATION
VpCI®-337 is ideal for ferrous and non-ferrous metals in enclosed environments, including hot/coldrolled steel, silicon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, zinc, aluminum, cooper, and brass. Its fogging properties make it a powerful corrosion inhibitor for piping and pipe spools, void spaces, complex
internal cavities (such as tanks, etc.), and double-wall spaces.
Mix thoroughly prior to application, then fog or mist into containers, boxes, crates, and shrouded packages at a rate of 0.33 ounces per cubic foot (261.13–344.53 ml per cubic meter) of enclosed space.

PACKAGING & STORAGE
VpCI®-337 and VpCI®-337 Winterized are available in 5 gallon (19 L) pails, 55 gallon (208 L) drums, and 275 gallon (1,045 L) totes, as well as in bulk.
To ensure best product performance, store VpCI®-337 in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40–100° F (4–38° C). Note that VpCI®-337 Winterized can tolerate storage temperatures as low as -40°F (-40°C).
