The Middle East client wanted to leave balance and ballast testing water in mooring buoys during export shipping to the Mediterranean. They decided to add VpCI®-649 BD to the fresh water used and were very happy with the solution. In this way, they were able to satisfy their corrosion protection needs during wet layup without fouling or degrading the corrosion inhibitor system.
