Over the last 50 years, Boris has had 66 patents issued to his name and has played a prominent role in the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE, now AMPP). Boris has chaired NACE symposia and task groups, helping to develop important industry test standards. His findings on Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor Technology have been published in AMPP’s Corrosion: The Journal of Science & Engineering. He is listed as an author on 35 NACE/AMPP papers and 16 articles published in AMPP’s Materials Performance magazine or supplement. He won the NACE Frank Newman Speller award in 2004, the same year Cortec® Corporation received the NACE Distinguished Organization Award in New Orleans. Boris has also lectured at NACE conferences as far away as Quito and Abu Dhabi.
