Description
VpCI®-422 is an enormously versatile rust and tarnish remover, effective on steel, iron, copper, and brass. Completely organic, nonflammable, and biodegradable, VpCI®-422 requires no special disposal for typical use, including outdoor* applications.
Engineered from 92% USDA certified biobased content, VpCI®-422 removes corrosion from metals without creating waste disposal difficulties, making it more user friendly and environmentally responsible than traditional rust removers. When used as recommended, VpCI®-422 will not affect most paints, plastics, wood, textiles, ceramics, or rubber, making it an ideal rust removal solution.
VpCI®-422 is also available as VpCI®-422 G, especially formulated for galvanized steel.
*In rare situations where large quantities of pollutants are present on surfaces in need of treatment, additional waste disposal requirements may be necessary

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
VpCI®-422 can be applied using spray equipment, including air and airless sprayers, as well as by brush or by dip. Applications include:

PACKAGING & STORAGE
VpCI®-422 and VpCI®-422 G are available in 5 gallon (19 L) pails, 55 gallon (208 L) drums, 275 gallon (1,045 L) totes, and in bulk. To ensure best product performance, keep sealed in original packaging, indoors, and out of direct sunlight at 40–100° F (4–38° C).
